ABOUT ME AND MY PRACTICE
I have been a clinical social worker since 1998. My practice is virtual only. Prior to the pandemic I was doing telehealth and really enjoyed the format. Telehealth (by phone or video) offers therapy and privacy in the comfort of your own home. It also offers a layer of anonymity which makes it conducive to talking about very personal matters like sex. I do see individuals and couples by video or phone. My sessions generally last 45 minutes to an hour. Payment for service is expected at the end of each session unless your insurance or EAP is being billed.
My style is very casual and welcoming. I've been told that I'm not judgmental and that I'm easy to talk to. I believe in the human connection in counseling, and I think you will find this to be the case as we work together.

I have over 20 years of experience working in counseling and mental health. I began my work in the addictions field where I worked in rehab both inpatient and outpatient. For at least the past seven years my focus has changed to couples therapy and helping people with sexual issues. I also welcome individuals with depression, anxiety, grief, etc. and have a lot of experience in helping people with those issues.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to answer any questions you may have about therapy and to determine if your particular issue is one I can help you with. If you are having an emergency you should call 911. I return my emails and voicemails within 24 hours. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!
